Break from Business is a personal travel discount program exclusively available to employees of United corporate accounts with an eligible corporate offer that have opted into the program (each, a "Participating Customer"). Participation is subject to these Terms and Conditions.
1. ELIGIBLE TRAVELERS
1.1. To qualify for the Break from Business program, an individual must: (i) be employed by a Participating Customer; (ii) be an active MileagePlus® member in good standing; and (iii) complete enrollment by linking their MileagePlus account to a valid work email address (each, an "Eligible Traveler").
1.2. Once eligibility is confirmed and enrollment is complete, the Eligible Traveler may access Break from Business discounts (the "Discounts") by signing into their MileagePlus account and selecting "Personal" or "Break from Business discount" during the flight search process on united.com or the United app.
1.3. Eligibility ends when the Eligible Traveler is no longer employed by the Participating Customer. Eligibility may be reestablished if employed by a different Participating Customer, subject to eligibility confirmation and completion of re-enrollment.
2. DISCOUNTS
2.1. Discounts are for personal or leisure use only and cannot be used for corporate or business-related travel.
2.2. Discounts apply to the Eligible Traveler and up to eight (8) companions on the same booking.

3. ELIGIBLE FLIGHTS
3.1. Discounts apply only to Eligible Flights, defined as flights that: (i) are ticketed by United on 016 ticket stock through united.com or the United app; (ii) are marketed by United with a United flight number; (iii) are operated by United or United Express ("UA"), Air Canada ("AC"), All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd. ("NH"), Austrian Airlines Inc. ("OS"), Brussels Airlines SA/NV ("SN"), Deutsche Lufthansa AG ("LH"), or Swiss International Air Lines Ltd. ("LX"); and (iv) meet one of the following geographic criteria: (a) originate in the USA with travel to any global destination served by United, United Express, or one of the carriers listed in Section 3.1(iii); (b) originate outside the USA with travel to a destination in the USA; or (c) other select flights specifically designated by United as eligible for inclusion in the Break from Business program.
3.2. For purposes of Eligible Flights, "USA" refers exclusively to the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia. 3.3. For travel originating in Japan, only flights operated by United qualify as Eligible Flights.
3.4. Eligible Flights are subject to change at United's discretion without notice.
4. PROGRAM USE
4.1. All tickets are subject to published fare rules, United's Contract of Carriage, and may be audited for compliance with these Terms and Conditions.
4.2. Additional fees for checked baggage may apply.
4.3. Tickets may not be purchased using a UATP account as the form of payment.
4.4. Tickets purchased before losing program eligibility remain valid; however, Discounts cannot be applied to any bookings after the Eligible Traveler''s eligibility ends.
4.5. All bookings must be ticketed in the name of the Eligible Traveler and may include up to eight (8) companions on the same booking. If the Eligible Traveler is removed from the booking or cease to be part of the booking after ticketing, the booking must be canceled in full, and any companions must be rebooked on a published fare without the Discount.
4.6. Sharing, transferring, selling, bartering, or trading access to the Break from Business program or Discounts for personal or commercial gain is strictly prohibited.
4.7. Bookings that violate these Terms and Conditions or any applicable laws and regulations may be canceled and subject to repayment of any discount value received, as well as any other remedies available to United in law or equity.
4.8. The accrual of miles and Premier® qualifying credits, redemption of awards, and provision of benefits through the United MileagePlus program, including the Premier Program, are subject to change and are governed by the rules of the MileagePlus program. 4.9. United reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Break from Business program or these Terms and Conditions at any time, in whole or in part, with or without notice. United may also suspend or revoke an Eligible Traveler's access to the program, at its sole discretion, including in cases of suspected misuse or ineligibility.
